We believe that behaviour is communication, and that supporting behaviour involves providing an environment that supports the person and teaching people helpful ways to communicate their needs to build a good quality of life. Our webinar introduces the ‘Behaviour Planning Tool’. This tool can be used to develop a plan to support a behaviour by understanding the reason for the behaviour and then matching supports for the individuals to their needs. The webinar will also help you to consider how to respond to behaviours of concern to help the person to calm, have their needs met and stay safe.

Audience: This webinar will provide information to parents and carers; and will benefit professionals supporting Autistic children in early education and care and school settings.
